Hershey National Bank Elects Two New Directors
J. B. Sollenberger, bank president, announced the annual meeting on January 14 electing Harry M. Spangler and Clarence J. Speicher to the board. Speicher is noted as a former Hershey Chocolate production official and Speicher’s veteran service joins Spangler, a long time Hershey financial officer, on the board.

Bybee Receives Hershey Lions Club Community Service Award
Frank Bybee honored by the Hershey Lions Club at a community service dinner on January 21 for kindness to the blind aged and ill. He is a longtime Hershey Chocolate Corporation employee and former baseball fan known for regular hospital visits and World War Two USO work with his wife. The Bybees live at 118 West Caracas Avenue in Hershey since 1927 with a son Frank Jr and two daughters, plus four grandsons.
