Hershey executive Meyers chairs confectioners group
E W Meyers chief chemist of Hershey Chocolate Corp serves as chairman of the Pennsylvania Manufacturing Confectioners Association executive committee. He is immediate past president of the state group and chairs the Tuesday luncheon committee of the National Confectioners Association meeting in Philadelphia. Meyers joined the company in 1930 after serving as assistant to S F Hinkle who became plant manager in 1947 and later president of Hershey Chocolate in 1957.
