Calder Cup Returns to Hershey After 12 Years
The 1957-58 Hershey Bears defeated Springfield 2-1 to win the Calder Cup in a 4-2 series. Coach Frank Mathers praised the team, led by Willie Marshall Dane Fisher and Obie O'Brien. Marshall set a playoff scoring pace with 19 points, while Salinger added seven playoff points to push his career total toward the AHL record. The Bears celebrated with two community parties this week.

Festival Of Tulips Opens At Hershey Gardens This Weekend
Hershey Gardens hosts a 30 000 tulip display spanning 23 acres. Chief Horticulturist John P Meszaros says gardens are open daily 100 am to 8 pm with free admission through May 11. Peak bloom expected May 10 11 features 94 tulip varieties including 60 exclusive to Hershey Gardens.
