Council Okays Zoning Plan for Area North of New Braunfels
On Monday night the City Council tentatively approved a zoning plan for land bounded by County Line Road and Old McQueeney Road, despite a P and Z Commission suggestion to return it for study. The ordinance moves the annexed tract from R-1 to multiple classifications including R-2 R-3 C-1 and ZH with a plan for exact property lines. Council asked the planning director to prepare a colored map of classifications and to review the plan again at the next meeting. The council also formed a committee to study a potential sign and billboard regulation ordinance.
