Walkers Sell Walkers' Fried Chicken Stores to Church's
Bob and Sherry Walker sold their four Walkers' Fried Chicken outlets two weeks ago to Church's Fried Chicken. Stores include 712 W. San Antonio St and locations in Schertz Kirby and Floresville. The New Braunfels unit will stay Walker's for now as Church's converts the others. The couple, in business 15 years, say the sale relieves pressure and plans to stay in New Braunfels and pursue real estate.

He cited the floating exchange rate regime and a strong dollar making imports cheap and U S goods costly abroad, noting a record 123.3 billion dollar merchandise deficit last year.
