Train Derailed Near Reedsville on Ice Coated Crossing
A Chicago and North Western freight train derailed about 11 45 a m Tuesday two miles west of Reedsville when the Hillcrest Road crossing iced over. No injuries were reported. Scott L. Smith, 18, of Tisch Mills, endured a severe scalp laceration, knee puncture, and neck injury when his northbound car on County Trunk B in Two Rivers struck a tree while airborne, rolled over, and rested on its top in the west ditch. Smith was taken to Holy Family Hospital.

In Manitowoc two city drivers sustained injuries in a Monday crash at South 16th Street and Columbus Street. Reynold J. Maier, 30, and Michael H.
