Training Course Set for Reserve Deputies

At 3:15 a.m. Officer Dodge pursued an auto westbound on 23rd Street then down Pine Tree and 22nd Street, running a stop sign and reaching 65 to 70 mph before the suspect fled on Sandy Bay Road and into a wooded area near Leslie Scheffen residence. The car was owned by Eugene Pantzlaff of Manitowoc, who said it had been in his driveway Friday night and that about 75 miles had been put on the odometer. keys recovered in the car did not belong to him.

Three Injuries From Manitowoc County Crashes
Early Saturday three people were injured in separate crashes on Manitowoc County roads. Linda Zucchi, 14, sustained a bumped knee in a hit and run involving Debra Lodl, 17. James Schuh, 20, and John Lulloff, 20, both Kiel residents, suffered neck pains and internal injuries after Schuh rear ended Lulloff on Highway 32.
