Damaging winds swept across southeastern Wisconsin on Friday night triggering tornado warnings from Madison to Milwaukee and north to Fond du Lac. Funnel clouds were reported in several counties with an unconfirmed sighting near Manitowoc County. At Mitchell Field 14 Aerodyne aircraft were damaged and some overturned. Sailboats capsized on Lake Michigan with no injuries, and about 10 000 customers lost power in Milwaukee area before restoration later.
