First National Plans One Million Dollar Manitowoc Bank
First National Bank of Manitowoc announced plans for a new one million dollar three story bank building on North Eighth Street between Chicago and State. The site will include 22 000 square feet of space, 75 parking stalls, four drive in bays, a landscaped public park and private lending and trust departments. Construction is set to begin mid August with completion in late 1974. Architects are Rugg Knopp and Lambert of New Berlin.

Weather turns cooler with showers across Wisconsin
A weak cool front triggered scattered showers and thunderstorms in Wisconsin from Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Most areas, including Manitowoc and Two Rivers, reported negligible totals.
