Two Rivers Recycling Day Scheduled for Saturday

Two Rivers area residents may recycle paper cardboard tin aluminum and certain plastics this Saturday. Drop bundles at two locations near Shoto Fire Station or Paint Beach State Forest and bring leftovers to the paper drive and CAN headquarters before noon.

Golda Meir Returns Home After Eye Surgery

Former Prime Minister Golda Meir aged 76 was released from Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem after cataract surgery on her left eye. Doctors say she is in satisfactory condition and will return for a right eye procedure in a few weeks. Nearby, Two Rivers recycling signs mark a plastics bin location with details on accepted materials and pickup times.
