Fire destroys Stevens barn and hay in First Street blaze
Monday morning a fire at A D Stevens barn on First Street destroyed the barn and 12 tons of hay and grain. A five ton hay stack nearby was saved. insurance listed at 250 on barn and buildings and 100 on grain and hay. Firefighters battled the flames but ceased as no immediate danger to neighboring buildings remained.

Funeral held at Saratoga church with Rev Beall and Rev Barnes and burial in church yard.
