Marshall and Putnam Poultry Association Formed
A temporary poultry raisers group in Marshall and Putnam counties voted to organize as Marshall and Putnam County Poultry Association. Vernon Mathis was elected president with officers and a five member board. The group aims to boost poultry quality, prices, and plan a poultry show and corn exhibit for late January. Members pay 1.00 dues. state members may join for free. A next meeting is set for November 24 at the opera house.
