Fire Scare at Segraves Corner Drug Store
Fire broke out on the second floor of Segraves Corner Drug Store around 9 am when fireworks stored from last year ignited in a large box. Mr Segraves alerted the fire department and helped evacuate the scene before crews arrived. Water damage affected wallpaper cassomine and stock foods, but stock was saved and the store reopened in about two hours with thanks to the fire company and helpers.
