Bradford Beaten as Henry Greys Open Season at Pavilion Park
The Henry Greys defeated Bradford 4 to 2 in the season opener at Pavilion Park. Bradford started strong with three hits and a dropped baserunner scare, but Henry's pitching and defense, including Eddie’s decisive center field catch, kept Bradford from scoring after the third inning. Coe made a one handed grab to thwart a two-base threat, Buchele turned a neat double play, and Phelps pitched for Bradford amid stern support from his team. Henry Greys face the Lacon Blues next Sunday, aiming to continue their early success.
