William H Edminster dies after prolonged illness in Tiskilwa
William Henry Edminster, known as Uncle William Henry, died April 22 at age 81 in Princeton after years of poor health. He leaves a large family across Illinois including Mrs. Ollen Miller Baldridge of Tiskilwa and Newcombe Edminster of McNabb, with grandchildren F Miller and Maude Miller. A staunch Republican, he was admired for honesty, charity, and steadfast character. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church in Tiskilwa with interment at Milo’s old family Mound Cemetery.

Lacon Electric Light Plant Change in Ownership
The Lacon electric light plant was sold on Saturday with transfer completed Monday. County Treasurer F A Barr bought the plant, and his son Leslie will manage it. Leslie, a practical electrical engineer, recently ran a Watseka plant and plans improvements including day and night current if feasible. Mr Barr senior considered both Lacon and Henry plant options but chose Lacon, while E L Buchanan relinquished his plant stake after twenty years of steady management.

Ladies' Guild Clean Church and Rectory for Vestments
