Mrs. David McDonough’s Main Street home was entered through a side door by burglars who ransacked the house from cellar to garret but left without taking valuables. Neighbors aided in inspecting the mess and only a sugar bowl was found emptied, suggesting the thieves fled before dawn.
James B Colligan a Peoria barber and Miss Anna Baugh of Whitefield married May 1 at St Pauls Peoria with Rev H Atwood Percival officiating. They plan housekeeping on West Park Row soon after a ceremony witnessed by friends and the Republican wishes them happiness.
