Social and personal notes from a Minnesota town
A collection of local items reports George Roth shipping a car to southern Minnesota to farm for the year, Mrs. G. M. Clark returning home from Duluth with ill health, and visits from H. F. Allen and Miss Charlotte Allen. It notes bridge parties hosted by Mrs. Bayne and Mrs. Carl Hallfarth, and discuss Iowa State Agricultural College stock inventories. It mentions Harry Keller moving to Mitchell Nebraska, Benjamin Little’s defalcation in Missouri, and a plea for farm readers to consider early-maturing corn varieties. It closes with news of Helen Turner and Dr Lester Long’s wedding and a fatality that made front-page papers.
