Henry Wins in Peoria Baseball Tilt Despite Rough Play

The Independents of Peoria, touted as the fastest team, lost to the home squad in a long, error-prone game at Pavilion Park. Henry led with strong contact while Williams, Wagoner, and Ginnochio contributed costly plays. Breese and Phelps mixed solid pitching with ragged support. Attendance was fair on a hot day as Um pire Harney called a 2 hour, two minute contest that ended 7 to 4.
