Alumni Social Sets High School Memories Aglow
The Magnolia Alumni held a reunion at Masonic hall on June 5 with officers including President and Mrs. Hattie Ditman Hilla and treasurer. Teachers and board members attended along with Rev. McCormick and families, while pupils enjoyed a day in fields east of Mr. McKirgan's. A lengthy program featured music and recitations, followed by a formal dinner with red and white decor and courteous service by students. Messages from distant alumni were read, and the piece reflects on the bonds between old school days and home town. Several former graduates from Magnolia and nearby towns attended, strengthening the Alumni link across distances.
