The opening of the summer games and storytelling program starts Saturday June 16 at Pavilion Park. Two supervisors, a director, and a storyteller lead events including running and team races, jumping rope, various jumps, bicycle and ball races, and croquet. Children need a credential ticket for the afternoon session. contact the credential committee to secure admission.
There will be a meeting of the W C T U Tuesday afternoon June 19 at the home of Mrs Roger Rowe with Mrs D R Blackwell leading.
Attorney General Brundage reiterates that county and township officers who custodian public funds must publish yearly financial statements in a county newspaper for one week. Items should be detailed enough to show sources and purposes, with separate reports for funds held in different capacities. Paragraph 92 of the Cities and Villages act also requires duties for city and village treasurers.
Rev L G Landenberger escaped unharmed after a wreck near Mineral Ohio while returning from the Centennial Convention of the New Jerusalem at Philadelphia. He will preach at 11 am next Sunday on Standing Within the Gates of Jerusalem and describe convention events including the tablet unveiling. An evening sermon titled The Bowed Fire Cloud will also be given.
Next Sunday morning Dr Murphy concludes a six sermon series on court scenes from the Hole. The May 27 talk was not delivered due to an opera house meeting. Sunday night at Putnam will feature The Prodigal Son. Sunday school at 104 Christian Endeavor at 6 30 pm. Everyone invited.

The Presbyterian Church announces a week of services starting Sunday June 17 with Sunday school at 9 45 morning worship at 11 and evening worship at 8. Christian Endeavor at 7 pm Thursday prayer meeting at 7 30 with choir rehearsal afterward. Pastor Rev W Martin extends a cordial welcome.
