Prof William Calhoun superintendent of Henry schools delivered a Baccalaureate address Sunday evening at the Opera House before a packed audience. The event highlighted graduates and community support for local education.
The superintendent delivers an address praising the 1903 graduating class and the rise in female graduates. He notes more girls than boys in the class, reflects on education's value, and commends students, teachers, and Henry schools for strong performance and character building.
The Chautauquan Circle finishes its season with a Friday meeting at Martha Button's home. Members reviewed Cuban diplomacy and the evolution of religion among primitive mankind. They planned next year to study Russia and England with English topics and nature readings, inviting new members.

Henry May lead talks by Messrs Jones and Bancroft of the Chicago Building and Mfg Co to establish a combined butter and cheese factory in town. Local business men and farmers show interest as plans highlight higher yields, farmer cash payments every 80 days, sterilized skimmed milk, and regional economic benefits from a modern plant.
Iwo graduation exercises of Henry High School will be held at New Opera Hall on Friday evening, June 1, commencing at 8 o'clock. Nine graduates, five boys and four girls, form the class of 192. The program includes invocation, salutatory, addresses, vocal solo, pledge, and diplomas. Dr 12. O. Bisson of Bradley Polytechnic Institute will give the address.
The seventh annual grammar school commencement is set for Thursday evening June 4 in the high school room. Rev Robt Campbell leads the program with readings, piano solos, duets, and acting segments. Diplomas presented by Rev Campbell. class motto Step by Step. colors pink and white.

The 44th Annual Sunday School convention of Bureau County will meet at Mineral's Advent Church on June 19 and 20, 1902.
