Dedication of St Marys New Catholic Church in Henry
Immense crowd attends the consecration as oil paintings depict scenes from Jesus life and symbols of the church. The new church, built for 300 souls, features Gothic windows, onyx wood, stained glass, and a Green cream and terra cotta color scheme with 100 pews. Father Zumbuehl, retiring pastor, receives high praise for nine years of service and the bishop presides with two sermons in German and English.
