Christmas Festivals at New Church Temple
Christmas Eve programs at the New Church temple included a sub Watch school festival with a star and evergreen lights. Four flower girls led a procession, recited verses, and joined in a concerted song while twenty five scholars performed verses about the Lord's advent with a golden motto and star display.

The Marshall County bar met at G O Barnes Bay to mourn Silas Ramsey who died in Chicago while attending the United States court. A committee on resolutions praised Ramsey’s intellect and kindness and called for mourning badges for 80 days.
