Robert Gibbs and Miss Jessie Crocker were married on February 6 in Peoria by Rev. Shaw at the M B parsonage on Hamilton boulevard. The couple will live on a farm northwest of Sparland after March 1 with many friends sending best wishes.
Hutchins & Downey expands by leasing Gates building adjoining Second Street as a furniture annex. A portion of the line will be displayed in sets to aid the trade. Tretheway, the furniture manager, welcomes customers as expansion signals healthy growth and city confidence. School notes mention a pupil surprise for Mr Otto and substitutions in Miss Vale Saris’ absence. Basketball game urged at People’s Hall next Saturday against Sparland. The Hal household reports Miss Mamie Stewers settling at New Mexico Cottage sanitarium in Silver City, N M.
