Death of Christian P. Camery at 81 in Traer Iowa

Christian P Camery of Traer Iowa died yesterday morning at age 81. His brother Isaac and sister Mrs F A Raymond will attend the funeral, leaving last night for Town. A month ago his brother Elijah died in this city. He leaves two brothers and two sisters of a family of 12 children nine boys and three girls.

Mesdames H Sterrett and B A Hall hosted a Valentine party on Monday evening at the former's West street home. Guests played Progressive Hearts across seven tables with red heart decor and Cupid motifs. Pioneer Mrs. Martha Kuss Dies After Prolonged Illness

The widow of Matthew Kuss and mother of William Joseph and Johann Kuss and Mrs. Charles Dille died February 2 1910 at age 78 in Henry Illinois. She was born in Germany and lived in Henry since the 1850s. Funeral at St Marys Church February 5 conducted by Rev Fr Scheur with C C Doran directing. Her family includes four children and several grandchildren.

Surprise birthday shower for Mr and Mrs Wells at Plano home

A joint card shower marked the couple’s two milestone birthdays. On Feb 1 Mr Wells turned 78 and on Feb 2 Mrs Wells turned 60. Family and friends from Missouri, Kansas, Putnam IL and nearby Plano sent cards. An elaborate oyster and chicken dinner followed the presentation of a post card album and other tokens of esteem.
