Tragic Keota Child Burned To Death
A six year old girl Leah Anderson of Keota Iowa was burned to death when her clothing caught fire after entering an unlocked Bell home to reach a mailbox. Passersby found her near the road with most clothing burned, and she died around 1 pm. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Keota, with interment in Keota cemetery.
