Toek Island Depot Robbed by Night Bandits
A depot robbery occurred Friday night between 9 and 11 PM. The night watchman found the money tilt and a separate bureau entered in the same manner. Entry was gained with a jimmy and torn wood pieces were replaced to avoid notice. Twenty one dollars and one cent was taken from the tilt. The Bureau entry mirrored the same method, suggesting the same tool and group. Investigators suspect a coordinated midnight operation before dawn.
