A collage of holiday notes from Miss Margaret Fraher and George Hail, with Christmas greetings from The Republican. Observations on town growth, travel plans of Mr and Mrs James H Wabel, and political chatter about New York police headship and rail trusts. A humorous aside on a telephone girl, pure food law pricing, and a Philadelphia story of two boys selling shoes to care for their ill mother.
