Parrot of Pricilla visits town as Chicago trip emulates
A jumble of local notices details visits by Drs Downey Dakin Boshet from Melvin and Young from Chicago, along with social calls by Mrs Ditman, Mrs Bean, and family members. Readers learn of a Duroc Jersey hog for sale, Christmas entertainments at Magnolia Grange hall, lodge elections at Magnolia No.103, and upcoming Christmas events. The report also notes numerous trips to Chicago for the fat stock show and local schooling and business travel, with a Christmas party for Bert Dean and Minnie Rolley’s birthday celebrations.
