Attempted Bank Robbery at Hennepin Ends with Capture
A young man named Harry Cassell attempted to rob the Hennepin bank, shooting cashier W C Patterson in the arm and forcing Miss Blanche Patterson to hand over money. Cassell fled by skiff but was captured by Sheriff Cofoid after crossing the Illinois River. Patterson’s injury is a flesh wound and no money was taken.
