Steamboats Sinking After Terrible Willows Crossing

Dense fog wind and rain drove the Peerless and two canal boats to the Willows near Mossville. The crew of Captain William Farmer Pilot Will White and others were rescued just as boats sank in seven feet of water. They planned repairs in Henry after a return to Peoria for a pump.

Woman's Club Meets At Miss Clara Waughop Home

Elevator firm plans power rise and toll line in Illinois

A. G. Lumphe y states Turner Hudnut Co. operates elevators along the Illinois river and has Electric Power Company of Northern Illinois contracted to run lines to Hennepin Henry Lacon and Chillicothe. The electric firm reportedly plans to extend poles from Streator to Hennepin and offer light and power to buyers. Also notes death of Dr. J F O Neal in Florid after years in Magnolia and Hennepin townships and Putnam county country practice.

Woman Fractures Wrist After Fall at West Richard Street

Miss Mary Conlin living alone on West Richard street fell in the cellar stairs Monday and fractured all bones in one wrist and bruised her body. She crawled to John Hanley for care and remains under treatment after bones were reset. Nurse Dormand from Peoria tends Mrs Waterous and ill son Lathrop, prompting another nurse to be sent.

Hodges Mielkey Wed In Bradford Whitefield Parsonage

Sherman Hodges of Bradford and Blanche Mielkey of Whitefield wed at the MBE parsonage in Whitefield with Rev. Vandervoort officiating. Guests included Elsie Drawyer, Raymond Hodges, and Mrs. William Mielkey. The couple plans a southern Iowa visit then will settle on a Bradford area farm.

The Structure of Man s Mind at Church of the New Jerusalem
