Attorney George Sucher of Peoria urges a joint plan by the Illinois Valley commercial associations to pressure the War Department and Burlington railroad to place a draw in the La Salle river bridge. Henry Fails To Match Peoria Three I Team

The Bar Peoria Three I team came to Henry yesterday afternoon and trimmings on the trousers of our bunch with little delay. The league team had been playing this season while Henry’s squad was just forming this year. Stage fright in the first inning and the first batter’s performance left Henry far behind the professional visitors. It was an exhibition game to start the season, watched with interest by locals despite Henry playing with ten men.
