William Divelbiss, 75, of Saratoga township, Franklin County, born February 26, 1855, died suddenly while working in a field. He married Mary Ellen Hauger in 1904 and left a devoted wife, stepdaughter, and foster child. Memorial services were held September 22.

Charles Bonn retired farmer of Chillicothe died at his home Wednesday morning after a paralytic stroke on September 2. Born October 29 1860 in Henry Marshall County Illinois he was 62 years 10 months and 17 days old. Funeral held Friday at the Methodist Church Chillicothe with Rev A H Nothdurft. burial in City Cemetery. He leaves a sister Mrs Kate Drain and brother in law Sam Staab and many relatives and friends.

Rev Fr M J Brennan Dies After Illness at 1867
The Rev Fr M J Brennan long serving pastor of St Joseph's Henry died Friday after a brief illness of angina pectoris. Born in Ireland 1867 he studied in Kanakee Cincinnati and served as priest in Gilman Danville Ottawa Carthage before coming to Henry in 1912 to lead St Joseph's parish. He received viaticum and final anointing before passing peacefully. He leaves four sisters and a brother in Ireland and New York and a housekeeper. The funeral arrangements are to be announced.

Minonk Barn Fire Claims Seven Horses
A fire three miles northeast of Minonk destroyed a barn and corn crib on Mrs. Margaret Loston’s farm early Tuesday. Seven head of horses died, 1,600 to 1,800 bushels of oats were burned, and loss is estimated at 7500. The Minonk fire department arrived but could not halt the blaze.
