Illinois approves bids for 134 road and waterway projects
The Illinois Department of Transportation listed bids on 134 road and waterway improvement projects for new interstate and supplemental freeway work. In Marshall County a bridge over Senachwine Creek west of Sparland drew 181,100 estimate, awarded to Ladd Coast Co at 189,747. Also in Marshall County, Sandy Creek bridge and II 18 work near Henry carried 641,173 to Central Illinois Contracting Corp of Peru.
