Long-lived Mary Newman of Henry County dies at 94
Mary Newman 94 longtime Henry County resident died Sunday at her home. Born Feb 23 1845 in Henry Township she lived on farms in Saratoga Whitefield and Henry. She married James R Newman in 1863 and had nine children. She was active in the Methodist Church Foreign Missionary Society Woman’s Relief Corps and Eastern Star. Survived by 31 grandchildren 47 great grandchildren two sisters and several brothers. Funeral services held with interment at Henry Cemetery.

Henry to Erect Several New Homes in City Progress

McNabb Resident Attended Fair Here 70 Years Ago
