He suffered a broken leg and bruises and his mother says he is doing real good as doctors prepare to pin the leg.

Children's Library Story Hour Begins At Henry Library
The Henry Library starts its preschool Story Hour on Thursday morning September 26. The Newcomer's Club and Library Board sponsor the program for four year olds who turn four by December 1 1968. Thirty three children attended last year with activities including stories songs games musical instruments art work filmstrips and films. Registration is limited and cards are provided at the library.

Henry Library Building Plan Moves Ahead in Henry
The crowded present library lacks space for shelving and children’s activities. A new 4000 square foot building with 18 000 book capacity, 25 study seats for adults and 10 for children, film room, record center, and expanded art displays is proposed with room to expand to 34 000 books and parking. The plan preserves a park area, eliminates the basement, and allows one librarian with full supervision, air conditioning, and handicap access. A $25 620 grant is available if action is taken now to beat 1968 cost increases.
