The executive board announces the 16th Marshall Putnam Fair starting next week in Henry with plans for the largest fair yet. A larger transformer will boost electrical capacity for the war buildings and concessions, with Public Service Co. to install the upgrade. Exhibitors will be paid in full on Friday after the final day, and the Art Radio and Sound Company of Peoria will provide a public address system and an announcer for the horse show and events.

H Club 4 H Exhibit to Feature at Henry Fair Next Week
The Marshall Putnam 4 H Club will exhibit at the Henry fair as part of the Mar Putnam fair September 8 9 and 11. More than 180 members have kept individual animal records since the year began. Ellsworth Bishop and Rabanaanes, former club officers now local leaders, assist as superintendents. The show includes fat beef steers purebred heifers and hog breeds with 63 members in poultry and sheep projects.

Old Age Pensions In Marshall County Reported
