E R Bumgarner Memorial Services Held In McNabb
Graveside services for El Raymond Bumgarner will be held June 6 at 4 p.m. at Hoyle Cemetery adjoining Friends' cemetery in McNabb Illinois. Bumgarner, life long McNabb resident, died December 1 1957 in Fort Lauderdale Florida at 83 years 11 months. The family asks memorial gifts to Heart Fund via Mrs Kirby Hayward McNabb Illinois for a memorial at Clear Creek Friends meeting.

Henry Poppy Day a Big Success in Henry and Surrounding Areas
The Henry Legion Auxiliary Unit 323 sold its entire quota of 1500 veteran made poppies on Poppy Day May 24. Poppy chairmen Mrs. Alta Barry and Mrs. Rose Ertle were assisted by unit members led by President Cynthia Barker and by numerous students including Steve Brumm, Marilyn Helper, Linda Bowen, and others who sold with dedication. John J. Janovetz Dies at 68 in Peoria Funeral
Funeral services for John J. Janovetz 68 lifelong Peoria resident and husband of former Henry resident Stella Dorff were held at St Thomas Catholic church Peoria. He died Sunday at St Francis hospital after a bakery career and later at Pabst Brewing. He leaves a son two daughters four sisters and nieces and nephews. Floyd Dorff of Henry attended the service. Claude Pembrook was released from hospital after eight weeks of care.
