Henry, under shock, learns Harry Moline is missing after his truck is found abandoned on the Henry bridge. Authorities search the Illinois River area with police, conservation, and county officials. Coroner's jury returns a verdict of death by drowning and self inflicted while temporarily mentally deranged.

Inquest for Moline Death Held At Varna
Dr J P Johnson coroner conducted the Varna inquest into the death of Mr Moline. Witnesses included John Moline Don Nader and Sheriff Park McAllister. Findings showed no premeditation and that illness or low spirits at times influenced actions. Sheriff McAllister directed the search and a three man crew located the body after a long river chase near the bridge south of the Illinois River. The testimony noted Moline’s routine early morning tasks and his work at the produce station. The body was recovered from the river edge after being found by George Maxwell Joe Clift and Johnnie Henkins who manned boats. A large team from Bureau county state police and conservation departments aided the search along with local officials and volunteers. Moline was born November 11 1894 in Princeton. He worked for Erickson greenhouse Adams Express and as a farmer.
