Lostant Girl Katherine Schrowang Has Passed Away
Katherine Schrowang 15 of Lostant died Saturday at St. Margaret's hospital Spring Valley after a long illness and two surgeries. She is survived by her father and five siblings. her mother died recently. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Mt Palatine with burial in St. Mary's cemetery.

Miss Ethel Gleason 40 of Hennepin died at 5 p m Sunday at her home after a short illness from bronchial asthma and heart trouble. Born near Granville she lived there all her life as daughter of Joseph Gleason and the late Mattie Gleason. She was one of three children with a sister who died in infancy. Her mother died last fall.
