Horses Training at Marshall Putnam Fair Grounds
The Marshall Putnam Fair Grounds are growing as a training site for pace and trotting horses with about 20 horses quartered here. Trainer Canfield, backed by H J Schmoeger and others, manages twelve horses. the grounds boast a rebuilt half mile track attracting several owners and stable members from Illinois.
