City treasurer Gale Warner told the city council on May 1 1957 balances in city funds were correct yet not the true bank balances due to about 4000 in outstanding checks. The old council had requisitioned 10000 for motor fuel tow funds for the business district project. only 4747 59 has been received so far this summer. Future monthly motor fuel tax accumulations are expected to replenish the balance.
