Frank J Sendelbach 81 died unexpectedly at his Henry home at 6 am Wednesday of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services set for 9 am Saturday at St Marys Church with Rev Laurence Schumacher. visitation after 2 pm Friday at Ries funeral home. Rosary 8 pm Friday. Interment Calvary cemetery. Survived by wife Ida Leichter, six sons Joseph Oregon Paul Colorado Herman Indiana Frank California Robert Granville, three daughters Mary Wahl California Emma Daily Indiana Rose Hermann Peoria. one brother Karl Sendelbach Henry. 14 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs Gert Rude Bickerman Neuhalfen 86 who died May 2 were held at St Marys church with Rev Laurence Schumacher officiating. Born Henry December 23 1872 she taught in county rural schools and Henry grade school for 31 years. She married William J Neuhalten in 1925, he died 1943. Surviving are four daughters and four sons. Interment Calvary Cemetery.

Two Barns Burn On Hufnagel Farm Near Whitefield Corners
Fire destroyed a large barn filled with straw and a smaller straw building on the Hufnagel farm of the late William Wufnagel just south of Whitefield Corners. A nearby machine shed was saved. Woodrow Walker lives on the farm. Henry Fire Department used its big truck and tank wagon to fight the blaze amid a brisk west wind.
