James E Reinbeck 70 Dies After Illness in Henry
James Edward Reinbeck died at 6 45 am Friday after a three month illness. He was 70 years 8 months and 138 days old and had lived in Henry six years since retiring from his Saratoga township farm. Born August 16 1857 he married Mary E Betz December 27 1882 and had two children Bessie Manders Willard Wabel and Charles L Reinbeck. Funeral Sunday at 2 30 pm from the M E church with Rev Dunkleberger and Rev Chatten officiating. hymns included Sometime We'll Understand Asleep in Jesus and We'll Never Say Goodbye in Heaven. Casket bearers were George E Pace Henry Downey Charles Wheeler Thomas Steer W R Brokaw and Gus Hawksworth. Burial followed in Henry City cemetery with Knights and Ladies of the Ku Klux Klan conducting grave services. He is survived by his immediate family, brothers and sisters Mrs Mery Newhan Harriet Starliper John Reinbeck Mrs Frances Knight Mrs Eliza Goodrich one grandchild Winifred Wabel and several nephews and nieces.

The sixty third Marshall County Sunday School Association convention met at the M E church in Lacon with 187 delegates registered the largest attendance in eight or nine years. Pattonsburg won the loving cup with Wenona and Lacon in second and third. State workers Tom L Jones Miss Pearl Weaver and Prof Higdon spoke. City council set to install night patrol clocks system
City council approves a clocked night patrol plan with eight or ten stations around the business district. Patrol hours are 7 to 5 during summer and 7 to 6 in other months. Officials also order demolition of the Dawson building ruins after a March fire due to unsafe front wall.

After a brief honeymoon in the city they will farm on the William Rowe place two and a half miles west of Henry.

Red Cross Tag Day Urges Local Flood Relief Gifts

Swaney Takes Putnam Co Literary Meet Lead
