Mrs Holton Dies in Henry After Nursing Career
Funeral services were held for Mrs. George D. Holton 76 at Henry Presbyterian Church. She died after a fall on steps and fracture of the right temple at St. Francis Hospital Peoria. Born 1878 in Saratoga Township Illinois she trained as a nurse and lived in Engle Grove Iowa before moving to Henry in 1928. She was active as church trustee teacher of the Helping Hand Class and leader in many activities. She is survived by one sister, Mrs Ida Higgins of Eagle Grove Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
