Mrs. Alice Williams Ash of Sigourney Iowa arrived in Henry this morning at 5 o clock with the body of her mother Mrs. Alice Williams Ash. The funeral was held at the M E church in Henry on Saturday at 2 30 p m Rev J W Turmer officiating pall bearers included Martin Coan William B Deck J J Herry George Pace Joseph Siewers and Elias B Wright. Those left to mourn are Francis Oy lmer Orrel Gilmer and Roy Gilmer of Chicago with numerous other relatives and friends.

Death of Mrs. Wm. Strosnider After Pneumonia
Mrs. Wm. Strosnider, 55, died March 29 from pneumonia after seven years of illness. She remained cheerful and hopeful, cared for by her husband and two sons with nurses and doctors assisting. The Christian church funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. W. J. Carpenter officiating. The family receives condolences from friends.

Mrs Gorman of Tiskilwa Dies at 75 in Cancer Fight
Mrs. John Gorman mother of Mrs. James Keegan of Putnam died at her home in Tiskilwa at 4 a m Wednesday aged 75 after a six month bed illness from cancer. She was a devout Catholic and received the last rites. Survived by daughters Mrs. Charles Gensler Sheffield Mrs. James Ervin Bureau Mrs. William Burns Port Huron Michigan and sons Patrick and James Tiskilwa. Dr Efford Dies After Surgery at Hinsdale Sanitarium
Dr. Efford died at a Hinsdale sanitarium Tuesday after a two year illness and a recent abdominal operation revealed the cause. His body will be brought to Henry Friday noon and the funeral will be at 4 o clock from the H H Haines home. A telegram notified Mrs Haines of his critical condition and later of his death.

Valentine Kroeper aged 77 7 8 of Marshall County died Sunday at his daughter Mrs Alden Northup in Peoria after 16 months residence there. Born 1844 Ottersheim Germany he came to America at 22 near Henry later living 55 years. He married Eva Reichling in 1866 who died 1914. A devout Catholic, funeral at St Marys Church with Requiem High Mass officiated by Rev Schauer. Pallbearers listed. interment Calvary Cemetery. Wolf caught after dramatic chase near Putnam
Hounds owned by Frank Yarrington and Beldon Long chased a wolf started on Read Bros farm west of Putnam. The wolf slipped away at times but was finally killed near Ben Morris’s place after a mistimed dash to the water. the hounds’ dam had five wolves killed in the prior two winters.
