The infant Paul Robert Newell born August 10 1921 to Fred Newell and the Mallman family died March 21 after illness. He is survived by his father grandparents late sister June and aunts Grace Margaret and Evelyn Mallman. Funeral held March 22 at 4 pm conducted by Rev M J Brennan at St Joseph Cemetery burial there.

A telegram reports the death of Adolph Schumacher of Claflin Kansas from a gunshot wound Sunday. Funeral services are set for 2 30 PM at his residence. He leaves a wife and two children and is survived by siblings Irvine of Galesburg Darrett of Varna and sister Mrs Massey of Granville with his mother and another brother ill and unable to attend.

91 Years Old St Patrick's Day Celebration

Man Shoots Large Wolf On Farm
Ben Morris killed a large wolf on the C. L. Clawson farm after being drawn by barking dogs. The wolf, cornered at a creek bridge by unfamiliar dogs, fought them for about fifteen minutes before fleeing into the creek where Morris fired the final shot.
