Lloyd Hunter Injured After Auto Mishap Near LaRose
Lloyd Hunter of this city was injured and his car heavily damaged in an automobile accident near LaRose last Friday afternoon. He pulled onto the pavement near the LaRose elevator and failed to yield to an approaching truck. The truck struck his car, throwing it from the road and demolishing it. Hunter received severe cuts to his head and face and other injuries. The truck and driver escaped serious damage.

Steven Williams born March 1 1860 in Henry Illinois died March 18 in Long Beach California. He lived in Nebraska with family before moving to Long Beach in 1917 where he owned a home. Survived by sisters Mrs. Thomas Rance Omaha and Miss Alice Williams Long Beach and brothers J H Williams Peoria and David Williams Pendleton plus several nieces and nephews. Frank T Harlin Dies at Woodstock Illinois
Frank T Harlin age 78 and former farmer of Marshall and Peoria counties died in a Woodstock Illinois hospital after a period of illness. Funeral services were held at Blue Ridge church with burial in nearby cemetery. He was born June 15 1855 near Worcester Ohio and moved to Illinois as a child, later marrying Ella Fillmore in 1904. He leaves one child Ora F of Chillicothe.

Old Henry County landmark razed after decades of use
One of Henry's oldest structures on Second Street near School Street was torn down this week by Fr Potter of the city. Constructed in the late sixties or early seventies, it once housed McNeal carriage works, then Wrigley poultry firm, later Steele poultry, and Grampp & Co. The property, once owned by the Duke family, had stood idle after a fire in 1901 and was ordered demolished due to fire hazard.
