Oscar Flesburg of Wenona died March 7 after a year of illness. Born April 8, 1862 in Sweden, he married Alida Johnson in 1884 and worked as a sailor before emigrating to the United States in 1890. He later farmed near Wenona and moved to town in 1925. Surviving: three daughters Mrs Hylan, Mrs Ellen Johnson, Mrs Inez Boyd. two sons Harry Flesburg and Clifford of Chicago. one son Clarence died recently. one sister and four brothers in Sweden. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. at Hyddin-nome and 2 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran in Wenona with Rev Bernard officiating. Burial.

Aged citizen Helen Rinkenberger Noll dies at 81
Mrs Helen Rinkenberger Noll died Friday March 5 after long illness including heart disease and pneumonia. Born August 19 1868 in Indiana she was 81 years 6 months 25 days old. She married Jacob Noll in Chicago April 30 1901 and lived in Henry. Funeral services were held at home with Rev Walter T Ward officiating and pallbearers named. Burial followed at Henry City Cemetery with M B R C conduct. Relatives from Chicago Des Plaines and Davenport attended the funeral.
