City Fire Laddies Answer Three Calls
The city fire truck was called to three homes over a few days. A roof blaze at Ed Prather’s near Riviera Park Saturday night. a similar fire at Bayete Landrus on Deacon Hill Sunday morning. and an attic fire from defective wiring at the Dille home on School Street Tuesday morning. Neighbors aided, and the home was saved with insurance covering the loss.
